York–Simcoe

The Riding consists of the areas within the Regional Municipality of York including the towns of East Gwillimbury, Georgina and the part of the Township of King north of Highway 9. Within the boundaries of York-Simcoe are The Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation Indian Reserve. It also is made up of the part of Simcoe County which includes the town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. Each town within York-Simcoe possesses its own unique characteristics which allow them to be distinct within my constituency.

East Gwillimbury
The Town consists of a number of growing urban areas and villages including Holland Landing, Queensville, Mount Albert, River Drive Park, Sharon and the hamlets of Holt and Brown Hill.

Georgina
The Town of Georgina includes the communities of Belhaven, Jackson’s Point, Keswick, Pefferlaw, Sibbald Point, Sutton West, Udora, and the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation Indian Reserve. The rich history of this area lives on today.

Bradford West Gwillimbury
In 1991 the former Town of Bradford and parts of the former Townships of West Gwillimbury and Tecumseth were amalgamated to form the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

King Township
The riding of York-Simcoe consists of a small part of King Township, north of Highway No. 9.
