Correctional Services Staff Join the Frontline Across Ontario

The Ontario government is pleased to announce the hiring of 119 new correctional officers, assigned to the following correctional facilities:
- Two officers will be assigned to the Algoma Treatment Centre
- 11 officers will be assigned to the Central East Correctional Centre
- Nine officers will be assigned to the Central North Correctional Centre
- 12 officers will be assigned to the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre
- One officer will be assigned to the Fort Frances Jail
- Six officers will be assigned to the Hamilton-Wentworth Detention Centre
- Four officers will be assigned to the Kenora Jail
- 14 officers will be assigned to the Maplehurst Correctional Complex
- Seven officers will be assigned to the Monteith Correctional Complex
- Four officers will be assigned to the Niagara Correctional Complex
- Five officers will be assigned to the Ottawa-Carlton Detention Centre
- Four officers will be assigned to the Quinte Detention Centre
- Three officers will be assigned to the Sudbury Jail
- Nine officers will be assigned to the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre
- 21 officers will be assigned to the Toronto South Detention Centre
- Seven officers will be assigned to the Vanier Centre for Women
