Correctional Services Staff Join the Front Line Across Ontario

The 113 corrections officers and 18 probation and parole officers who graduated today will strengthen public safety across the province. Correctional officer graduates will be assigned to correctional facilities near their home regions:

Three officers will be assigned to the Algoma Treatment Centre
Three officers will be assigned to the Central East Correctional Centre
Six officers will be assigned to the Central North Correctional Centre
11 officers will be assigned to the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre
Three officers will be assigned to the Fort Frances Jail
Five officers will be assigned to the Hamilton-Wentworth Detention Centre
Four officers will be assigned to the Kenora Jail
19 officers will be assigned to the Maplehurst Correctional Complex
Seven officers will be assigned to the Monteith Correctional Complex
Seven officers will be assigned to the Niagara Correctional Complex
One officer will be assigned to the Ottawa-Carlton Detention Centre
Three officers will be assigned to the South West Detention Centre
One officer will be assigned to the Sudbury Jail
12 officers will be assigned to the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre
Four officers will be assigned to the South East Detention Centre
22 officers will be assigned to the Toronto South Detention Centre
Two officers will be assigned to the Vanier Centre for Women
