Applications Now Open for Ontario Development Funds
Attention Bradford West Gwillimbury businesses! Applications are now open for Ontario’s Regional Development Program.
This program supports businesses investing in new equipment and training to expand their operations.
As part of Simcoe County, Bradford West Gwillimbury businesses can apply for Southwestern Ontario Development Fund. Applications will be accepted until September 17th, 2024.
The Regional Development Program offers financial and advisory assistance to businesses, municipalities, and economic development organizations via the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund. This includes providing guidance access to a variety of supportive services and resources.
Ontario is investing $160 million through its Regional Development Program to help manufacturers across the province grow, while supporting distinct regional priorities.
To date, Ontario has supported more than 120 projects through the program, leveraging more than $1.7 billion in new investments and helping to create over 3,200 jobs. Small and medium-sized businesses can receive grants to invest in new equipment and training to expand operations in these regions.
The program also provides support to municipalities and economic development organizations investing in economic development projects to help attract investments to their regions.
Businesses and organizations can expect to hear back on the status of their RDP application within a guaranteed 60 business day period.
